I’m sorry but this is an “After The Hurricane Day.” I am on my phone, not my computer. The street in front of my house is filled with trucks and cranes and crews. I spent the morning on the phone with different people dealing with needing to get dangling limbs and trees down and nothing is resolved and looks like it won’t be for some time. I wish I could do more here today but it’s not possible. This is life. More here tomorrow. These are the moments of my days too…
Your picture speaks a thousand words.
A thousand prayers to you and to the thousands upon thousands impacted by this year’s storms, fires, and floods.
Thank you dear Kathleen, and yes prayers, I need, as do we all, prayers, a thousand prayers, yes. Bless you dearheart…
I think you and I both were in the same mind space today. We do what we can on any given day and after that, we just learn to be easy on ourselves.
Much love. Ready for this day to fade into tomorrow….
Thank you dear Maggie, yes, we do the best we can. And if you remember, and I know you do, I said with these 365 day projects that just showing up and saying something brief is enough on these challenging days. We were here, we did our best, this is life.
I love you dear one. Take care. On we go…
No apologies, needed, Maitri.
Cleaning up is necessary, however it happens, and on whatever time frame.
Sending energy and love.
Thank you Lisa, some days it feels like things will never be right again here, but each day this kind of work gets done we move another step or two forward. Recovery after a major hurricane is gradual, but at least there is forward movement.
I appreciate your kind note so much and I’m sending a gentle, warm hug to you…
Yes, dear Maitri, such is life sometimes. Looking forward to Sunday
Thank you dear Marge and so it is. Please keep me in your prayers. And yes, I look forward to seeing you on Sunday…
