A very quick sketch of Maisie with pencil and watercolor pencils. I have almost completed the next big drawing of Maisie’s World and will begin painting it this weekend but I’m finding just doing quick little sketches in my sketchbook keeps her very close to me. This one is called “Sometimes I Need A Hug.” Maisie and I both live alone. When we get lonely we’re the only ones that can hug us and that’s okay… 😘💕🤗
I shared these pictures last night on social media and this morning I thought it would be fun to share them with you. Since I’m not going to be sharing the big paintings publicly for now since they will be for the book I wanted to share some of my little sketches of Maisie and her world because I draw her every day to get ideas for bigger illustrations and to just stay in touch with her.
