Well I am just so excited I am about to pop. This page took me two full days to do because of all the details but I had so much fun doing it and really the book and the illustrations are coming together in a magical way. AND I will indeed be writing a post for Tier 2 (and above) at Patreon about how I am doing this. I have written a great many books, journals, periodicals and zines in my life and I have never done anything at all like this and it is quite a process! I am absolutely loving it. If you would like to hear all about it you can join Patreon but I wanted to share the finished piece with everyone. And I am creating these pages in a very particular way because of the way that I hope readers will experience the book. Also, fyi, I am adding another downloadable image to Tier 4 today, the first page of the book, with the two hands reaching out to one another. There will now be 3 downloads at that tier by the end of the day.

Everything has finally begun to come together and unfold beautifully and I am happier than I know how to say and it’s all because of the support of my Patrons at Patreon. I cannot thank them enough. It is with their support that I have finally been able to figure out how to do Maisie’s book and it feels just right to me. It is a scary thing to do, to put oneself out there, to ask for help, but I believe in Maisie’s message and I want to share a lifetime of experience, loving and living with mental illness and struggling but continuing to survive and thrive along the way, and how one can still achieve their dreams, even later than life, in fact at any age, despite whatever limitations you might have.
